Afro-Caribbean Millennium Centre
The Afro Caribbean Millennium Centre was designed as a multi-faceted community enterprise.
The centre was specifically designed to enable a variety of training to be held on the premises. New Style Radio and the Frantz Fanon research unit are both based there.
The centre also acts as a welfare advice centre, gives free legal advice and holds a weekly senior citizens club.
Advocacy Matters
Advocacy Matters is a Birmingham-based charity which aims to provide vulnerable people with an independent advocate to ensure individuals are heard and that their rights, concerns and needs are acted upon.
Aquarius (for under-18s in Birmingham)
Aquarius helps people to overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. Aquarius works closely with individuals, families and friends to lessen the impact caused by the behaviour of a loved one. Aquarius does not offer an adult service in Birmingham – support services are for under-18s only. Adult drug and alcohol services are provided by Change Grow Live.
BHA for Equality in Healthcare
BHA is the health and social care charity which exists to challenge health inequalities and support individuals, families and communities to improve their health and well-being.
The Big Issue
The Big Issue Foundation is a charity which believes in a “hand up and not a hand out” that earning an income is a key step in a person’s journey towards stability and a better life.
The charity operates an open door policy and works with individuals who have made the first step to try and work themselves out of homelessness.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid
Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid supports women and children who are experiencing or who have experienced domestic abuse, i.e. abuse from a partner, ex-partner or family member. We listen, believe, and support.

Birmingham Youth Empowerment Project

CEOP Command

Change Grow Live (CGL)
Change Grow Live offers treatment and recovery services to support anyone experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol in a range of local community settings across Birmingham. Services are free and confidential.

Disability Resource Centre
The Disability Resource Centre’s (DRC) mission is to support disabled people to take control of their own lives and to actively seek out opportunities to achieve their full potential as individuals in mainstream society.
Freedom from Torture
The Freedom from Torture West Midlands centre opened in Birmingham in 2009 in response to the widespread dispersal of asylum seekers across the UK. Since then, staff at the centre have seen hundreds of survivors of torture living in Birmingham and the surrounding area for assessment and psychological therapy.

Nash Dom CIC is a registered community interest company based within the UK. Its purpose is to provide services and support to the Russian-speaking refugee and immigrant community.
Nishkam Centre
The Nishkam Centre is one of the five centres for excellence founded by Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha (GNNSJ), a Sikh faith-based organisation dedicated to nishkam sewa (active, selfless volunteering) to serve the common good.
